Some kind of Coleslaw

Another Aussie favourite that I have hardly ever made – but I actually enjoy it so I think I should try making it more often. I can\’t vouch for this recipe since it\’s been a while since I tried it. I\’ll modify it later if necessary.

  • 1 small, raw beetroot, peeled and grated
  • 1 small apple, peeled and grated
  • 3 carrots, peeled and grated
  • quarter cabbage, finely chopped
  • half a cup of raisins
  • optional: 2 celery sticks, finely sliced
  • optional: 2 segmented mandarins (pips removed)
  • Dressing: mayonnaise or aioli
