This website is outdated. I created it in 2019 to learn how to set up a WordPress multisite, complete with DNS management and so on. I needed content to populate the site so I threw some music, recipes and past ramblings at it. I was only just getting back into music at that time, and knew nothing about recording. The tracks below have zero separation between voice and guitar mics – just grabbed on a basic recorder, with no compression or EQ etc. Since then, I’ve learned a lot more about music  production and my preferred set up now is to record on a Zoom LS8, then re-amp through pedals (avoiding a DAW as much as possible). The audio quality has come a long way since the tracks below, and hopefully my vocal and guitar skills are better too! The tracks below provide a snapshot of a point in time and I keep them here just because I like the damn animated music graphic at the top of the page! But one day sooner or later I’ll kill this website because it has served its purpose of getting me up and running with web skills. Oh yeah, also in 2019, I binged on YouTube music theory videos by Jake Lizzio of Signals Music Studio. I had to regurgitate a lot of that theory to make sense of it and you can read some of that theory here. I’m in the process of turning some music theory into a web-based app, and when that’s live, I’ll probably kill this site.
