This is another make from last winter that gets a lot of use. It looks like half of all sewing bloggers are familiar with the Toaster Sweaters by Sew House Seven. (This Toaster 1 has a turtleneck while Toaster 2 has a boat neck.) I highly rate this top for comfy winter-wear. I like how the neck can be worn up or folded down. It was a relatively quick sew and the instructions were easy to follow.
My only change was to lengthen the torso by 1″ in this instance and by 2 inches in a subsequent one. The fabric is a medium jersey with a Jocelyn Proust print from Spotlight.
Thumbs up.
update June 2021 - another toaster 1 sweater
This top is sewn in a much drapier fabric than the one above. It’s the same size, just with an extra inch on the body length. Check out how long the sleeves go down.
Looks good. Love the hens as background models. I’d need to lengthen it at least 2″ by the looks of your review
