Space Cadet

This Kyuss cover was the first song I tried when I first got the looper – just looping the bass line and playing the top lines. It was fun to add in the keyboard once I realised the key was in Harmonic Minor (I think). Because there’s not a high degree of control on the looper (like adjusting volumes between more than 3 tracks), I used the inbuilt metronome (95) to record the tracks separately after I’d finished messing about. I think the result lacks some of the nuances you get when layering it on the looper but at least it was very easy to put together in a DAW. Other than arranging and adjusting track volumes, I haven’t added any effects. Delightful time-waster, this tune.
